Who is this treatment suitable for?
The treatment is suitable for virtually every skin type, including sensitive skin. Particularly people with skin ageing, pigmentation, a dull complexion or (acne) scars often see excellent results. We always recommend a consultation beforehand to determine whether the treatment suits your skin.
How many treatments are needed?
For the best results, we recommend a course of 3 to 4 treatments with 4 weeks between each session. Afterwards, you can optionally use the treatment for maintenance, depending on your skin goals.
Is the treatment painful?
Most people find the treatment very manageable. You feel a tingling, slightly scrubbing sensation on the skin. If needed, we can apply a numbing cream beforehand.
What does my skin look like after the treatment?
Immediately after the treatment, the skin may be slightly red and feel mildly warm, as if you have just been in the sun. This usually subsides within 24 hours. In some cases, light peeling may occur after a few days.
Can I wear makeup after the treatment?
We advise not wearing makeup for the first 24 hours to give the skin the chance to recover optimally.
What do exosomes actually do?
Exosomes help skin cells communicate more effectively and activate processes such as collagen production, hydration and skin barrier repair. This gradually improves skin structure and makes the skin more resilient.
Is home care needed?
Yes, we recommend using the EXO-HEAL® cream at home. It contains a high concentration of exosomes and supports results between treatments. Our skin therapists will advise you personally.
What is the difference compared to regular microneedling?
With regular microneedling, no active ingredients or only basic serums are used. The combination with exosomes makes this treatment more effective, because the skin is not only stimulated but also specifically supported in its recovery.
