PRX-T33 Peel

PRX-T33 is an innovative bio-revitalising peel that deeply stimulates the skin without visible flaking. The formula contains 33% trichloroacetic acid (TCA), but with a unique buffer of hydrogen peroxide and kojic acid that allows the TCA to work in the deeper skin layers without damaging the outer layer. The result: skin firming, stimulation of fibroblast activity and collagen production, with no downtime. Our skin therapist applies the liquid through gentle massage friction on the skin.

PRX-T33 is particularly effective for lax or ageing skin, loss of firmness and elasticity, fine lines and wrinkles, dull complexion, pigmentation spots and hyperpigmentation, acne scars, early-stage stretch marks and an uneven skin texture. The treatment is also suitable for delicate zones such as the neck, decollete and hands. Our skin therapist assesses which protocol is optimal for you during the intake.

The main difference is the absence of visible flaking. With a traditional TCA peel the skin flakes for several days. PRX-T33 uses the same powerful ingredient but with a buffer that prevents flaking while preserving the deeper stimulation. PRX-T33 therefore has virtually no downtime and can be performed without the client needing to stay home for days. It is ideal for people with a busy schedule.

For optimal results our skin therapists recommend a course of 4 to 6 sessions, spaced 1 to 2 weeks apart. For a quick refresh or a special occasion, 1 session is already noticeably effective. The combination PRX-T33 + Microneedling gives even more intense collagen stimulation and is ideal for acne scars and lax skin. After the course, 1 maintenance session every 2 to 3 months is sufficient.

The PRX-T33 peel causes a warm to burning sensation during application, comparable to a traditional peel but briefer in duration. The sensation is more intense at the first session and decreases in subsequent sessions as the skin adapts. Our skin therapist cools the skin immediately after application, which quickly relieves the burning sensation. Most clients describe it as manageable.

PRX-T33 has virtually no downtime. Directly after treatment the skin may be pink to red and feel slightly warm. This usually subsides within 1 to 4 hours. There is no flaking and no crusting. Temporary skin dryness in the first 24 hours is possible. Our skin therapist applies a soothing cream after the treatment and advises SPF for the same day.

Directly after the first session the skin feels tighter and looks more radiant. Visible improvement in texture, complexion and firmness builds up over the weeks after each session. The collagen stimulation reaches its peak 4 to 6 weeks after the last treatment. For acne scars at least 4 sessions are needed for clear improvement.

PRX-T33 is better tolerated in summer than traditional peels because no flaking occurs and increased UV sensitivity is limited. Our skin therapist nevertheless always advises strict daily SPF (minimum 30) and avoiding intensive sun exposure in the first 48 hours after treatment. Active sunburn is a contraindication.

PRX-T33 contains TCA at a high concentration and hydrogen peroxide. As a precautionary measure we advise against the treatment during pregnancy. During breastfeeding the use is often also not recommended. Always discuss it with your midwife or GP. Our skin therapist will gladly propose a safe alternative treatment plan during this period.
